Olympic Weightlifting training programs are designed for athletes who compete to lift the greatest amount of weight overhead within an athlete’s weight category. The competition lifts are the Snatch and the Clean & Jerk. Athletes also can use Olympic weightlifting as part of their other sports conditioning program to develop explosive speed strength, or power.
Here is an example of a single day of training, one of many workouts that are generated for an given individual over the course of a year. Workouts for all sports follow a similar structure, yet vary in exercises performed, intensity and reps. The workouts can be viewed via the mobile app.
